2. Eligibility to Apply for Additional Benefits
A. Promotion to TM meditating community by your local TM Center
After approval as a Maharishi AyurVeda® Consultant the consultant may apply to provide Maharishi AyurVeda consultations in TM Centers and be promoted by the Centers to their meditating lists. Approval requires successful completion of an internship period where the Consultant provides consultations in conjunction with another approved consultant.
B. Offering Maharishi Ayurveda Presentations in MF-USA TM Centers
After approval as a Maharishi AyurVeda® Consultant the consultant may apply to provide Maharishi AyurVeda presentations in MF-USA TM Centers. Additional requirements must be met for approval including but not limited to:
1) Providing video examples of presentations
2) Recommendations by faculty member
3) Approval/welcome letter from the local TM Center where the presentations would be given
A. Mandatory Educational
1. MAAA Level 1 program or MUM equivalent – value 100 hours
2. MAAA Level 2 program or MUM equivalent – value 100 hours
3. TM Instruction. Regular practice of the TM Technique for minimum of 3 months. – value 100 hours
3. Passing of standardized exam – value 50 hours
B. Optional Sources of Additional Hours
1.MAAA Live weekend training in Level 1 and Level 2 courses - Minimum of 2 weekends required- value 8 hours per day attended
2. TM Instruction and regular ongoing practice (a recommendation letter is required from the local TM Center Directors) value 100 hours
3. Three months regular TM Program practice ( 100 hours)
4. Approved MUM course List
- Maharishi AyurVeda Pulse Training Courses - hours to be determined at time of participation.
- Maharishi Ayurveda Yoga Asanas Course - hours to be determined at time of participation.
- Maharishi AyurVeda Aroma Therapy Course - hours to be determined at time of participation.
- Maharishi AyurVeda Cooking classes - hours to be determined at time of participation.
- Veda in Human Physiology Course - hours to be determined at time of participation.
- Maharishi Sthapatya Veda Course - hours to be determined at time of participation.
- Maharishi Jyotish Course - hours to be determined at time of participation.
- Mother-Baby Course – hours to be determined at time of participation.

B. Practice Requirements
1. 50 new patient consultations – (3 hours per consultation - value 150 hours)
2. Submission of five case study write-ups: (4 hours per case - maximum 20 hours) Please submit case materials online using standardized form -click here.
C. Additional Requirements for Certification related to receiving TM Center Referrals
1. Recommendation by MAAA or MUM Faculty Instructor
2. Member of the MF-USA TM Health Professional Program (TMHPP)
3. Recommendation from Directors of the your TM Center that would be referring you.
D. Agreement Form
Applicant must sign an Agreement form that stipulates:
1) The Applicant agrees to only use Ayurveda herbal preparations that have been tested for contaminants including heavy metals, bacteria and pesticides. Standards in each of these areas must be equivalent to or exceed those used by Maharishi AyurVeda Products International (MAPI)

E. Final Review
The Maharishi AyurVeda® Certification Board (MACB) reviews applications and provides final approval.
